The skipper Cristian D’Arcangelo
The skipper, Cristian D’Arcangelo, is the designer, founder and one the instructors of Mysailcruise, is 47 years old, married with two sons. He is a graduate (foreign languages) and speaks fluent English and very good German and French.
Lover of the sea, sail and offshore navigation, decides to professionally devote himself them and, in a very short time, get his Yachtmaster 200 offshore followed by the commercial endorsement. The Italian no limit sail motor licence, of course, has always been in his possession since he was very young.
Among his most important experiences, in the field of charter and sail sailing, we can find long term catamaran transfers from La Rochelle to Livorno, mono hull transfers throughout the Mediterranean, many seasons as skipper in Croatia, Elba Island, Capraia, Corsica, the training of many young skippers, maintenance and refitting of catamarans and sail boats and many other cooperation.
He deals also with maintenance works on board (electricity hydraulics light carpentry, etc.) and the installation of important equipments for the final configuration of the charter boat, like water makers, electrical equipments, etc.
On board he is also a very good cook whose main courses are the one of the Mediterranean cuisine. During the stops in the bays he arranges delicious dishes for the guests giving them the possibility to learn to prepare very good Italian dishes with very good results.
All these skills are needed to arrange an excellent holiday and are passed on to all the participants to the courses for skipper and hostess who receive a complete training that makes them the best professionals in the field of boat charter.
