How the weekly sail cruise take place?

Wake up in the morning with sunlight and, after a delicious breakfast, bathing in the sheltered bays, then raise up anchor and sail sailing where the guest can take part to the manoeuvres, steer or simply look and relax himself.
As in the next bay once again bathing, snorkelling in the crystal clear waters and sunbathing on the beach.
After the lunch, one more relax pause, and again sailing towards a sheltered bay, maybe with a beach which can’t be reached from the land, where the evening and the night will be spent.
New Islands are discovered every day, where the guest can spend the night and visit picturesque old villages and fisherman ports, have dinner on board watching the stars or ashore in typical restaurants.
The skipper is at disposal to plan further interesting activities for the guests.

Can the itinerary be changed or is it fix?

The weather is the most important factor to be considered for the itinerary. The skipper will consider first the safety and then, if weather conditions allow, will do his best to meet the guest’s expectations and desires. In case of bad weather the skipper will decide, unquestionably, where to go and whether to enter the port (port fees are paid by guests).
The skipper will try to organize different activities for the customer in order to ensure guest’s fun.

Are there any comforts on board and how are the cabins?

The boat is like a house, nothing is missing, from the kitchen so the living room, toilets with shower, hot water, ac/dc, hi fi stereo with usb, cd, dvd, water maker, gas bottle, microwaves hub and possibility of wi fi, sup, canoa. The cabins are double bed, private toilets, private wardrobe.

What is included in the participation fee?

In the guest’s fee are included: the boat, the cabin, water, gas, sheets, pillow and pillow case, blankets, towels, dingy.

What is not included in the participation fee?

The galley, the fuel (boat and tender), natural parks taxes, harbour fees (outside the basis).

At what time is the boarding scheduled ?

The meeting time is from 15 00 onwards, the skipper carries on the briefing, the organization of the galley and around 16 00 is expected the boarding, the stowage of the luggage and then, if possible, the departure. Sometimes the day after.

At what time is the disembarkation expected?

Within Friday at 18.00 h all the boats must be moored at the basis, unless otherwise specified, and the boat will be left Saturday at 08.30.

What document are needed to embark?

Id or passport (check always the expiration date before leaving)

Who is dealing with the galley?

The clients are dealing with the galley. The skipper will give all the needed info (where and how) and advises about the stowage. During the hostess course the skipper will plan the galley together with the participants.

Who is cooking on board?

The guests will be cooking on board, also for the skipper. The skipper can, sometimes, weather and time permitting, arrange some meals for the guests….but this is not the rule. In the case of the hostess course he will be cooking together with the participants.

What are the tasks of the skipper?

The skipper is responsible for the safety of the crew, the management and steering of the boat, so the crew must always follows his instructions and advises. He is not dealing with cleanings on board but for the bridge. The final cleanings will be carried on by the appointed persons at the basis.

Where is the skipper sleeping?

Generally in his private cabin or in the cockpit.

Is it possible to steer the boat or is the skipper doesn’t want it?

Our skipper are professional instructors as well, their mission is being at disposal for the guests who want to learn to steer the boat. Everybody can take part to the manoeuver and steering of the boat, under the supervision of the skipper.

Is it possible to take pets on board?

Pets are welcome on board but always advise first when booking.

Is there the wi fi on board and is it possible to use the cell phone?

Wi fi is always available on board. It is possible to use one own international roaming.

Is the sail cruise suitable for families?

Yes absolutely. It is a very complete and exciting holiday for family and children. Generally are one or more families that take the boat or catamaran exclusively. Concerning life on board, the skipper will help the crew choosing the most suitable itinerary for the particular conditions and crew. He will arrange many activities such as bathing in several bays, visits to villages beaches and towns, fishing for the children, shopping ashore, excursions by dingy or shore, tours of the Isles, etc.

What’s happening if the boat has a breakdown?

The boat are always checked before the departure and after the return. In the events of breakdown the repairing is carried on as soon as possible by our base manager, sometimes during the cruise in the Islands, where we have many affiliated collaborators. The costs are paid by the company.

What do you need to bring, as baggage, on board?

Just bring the bare essentials (most of the time you will wear swimsuit). Needful: boat shoes or simply sneakers, beach towel, rubber slippers, sun glasses, sunscreen, hat, personal effects, camera, phone charger. Clothing: shorts, t shirts, polo, sweatshirt or suit. Soft bags are strongly recommended.

Where do we sleep?

Obviously on board, generally in the cabins. It will be possible to spend the night in the bays, far from the noises (our dingy will allow you always to go ashore) or in the local ports, marinas where you will find any comfort.

Is it possible to bring the fishing and diving equipment?

It possible to ask for fishing and diving equipment that will be ready on board. The guest can bring his personal equipment if he wants.

Is seaman experience needed? Is there a limit of age?

No experience or training needed, only your passion for the sea. There are no limit of age. We have had babies and 80 years old guests on board.

Is it a specific insurance needed?

Our boats are full covered by kasco and cr insurance. Anyway the cost of an insurance, for your journey, is about 4/5 euros per day.
